Crew required- Toward the end of 2024 and early 2025 we will be making several passages and eventually crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean in Jan 2025. We will be looking for crew for each of the passages and are hoping to find people ideally aged 50+ with experience to accompany us on these adventures. These passages are as follows:- 1) Early June 2024 from Southern Sicily to Motril in Spain via Bizerte in Tunisia, Sardinia and the Balearics. 2) Late October 2024 from Motril to Las Palmas on Gran Canaria via Gibraltar and possibly Morocco. 3) Early Jan 2025 from Las Palmas to Mindelo in Cape Verde 4) Mid January from Mindelo to Port Louis Marina in St Georges in Grenada. The captain (Age 63) has been sailing for many years and has had extensive experience in the UK and the Med and is married to a very willing student (age 61) who is continually learning but has almost no experience - hence the reason we are looking for experienced crew Our boat is a Nautitech 40.2 that has recently undergone an extensive refit and upgrade. She is fully equipped with solar, lithium, new electronics, water maker to name just a few. We also have a small washing machine on board. We use Predict Wind, Windy and many other weather forecasting channels. All inspections and maintenance of the vessel will be the responsibility of the captain and the boat will have undergone rigorous checks prior to our departure. We have Starlink on board but this is considered an extra and a contribution will be required towards its use whilst in priority data locations (Usually more than 20nm from shore). The boat has 4 cabins, 2 heads with integral showers, a saloon area and a cockpit. We are a very clean and tidy couple that will be travelling with our pets (cat and dog(s)) Duties would include help and assistance with all sailing activities including night watches, responsibility for the cleanliness of own heads and cabin. Dietary needs can be discussed nearer departure but we are not vegetarian so this must be born in mind. Sharing of cleaning and cooking duties required. We would prefer non smokers but considerate vaping will be considered in outdoor areas. This is an unpaid opportunity. Expenses are all onboard expenses. Expenses covered by the captain are food on board, fuel, repairs and port levies (customs and clearance expenses) Personal expenses and particular likes or requirements of the crew or expenditure while ashore are not covered. Travel expenses to and from the boat are the responsibility of the crew during each of the legs outlined. Some offshore sailing experience is preferred. A sailing résumé would be helpful in evaluating potential crew. We maintain a dry boat while on passage. No weapons of any kind will be allowed or any illegal drugs. We are keen to see applications (In whatever form you are comfortable with) from anyone who thinks that they might meet the above criteria and are looking for a sailing adventure next year. We invite people who are interested in doing one, two or even all of the above passages and the detail of this can be discussed.

Hi all, I am an experienced skipper and yacht owner looking for a crew to help deliver my 31 foot sailing yacht from the Netherlands to Cherbourg. I am looking for someone who has experience with sailing who would be able to sail at night independently (weather permitting) and feels confident in the English Channel.
I have no real itinerary but the yacht is ready to move asap and departure on 31st October at the latest.
All on board costs would be covered by myself, food, fuel, overnight stops if needed. But the aim would be to sail to Cherbourg as quickly as possible.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Crew to Join a Sailboat Circumnavigation
We left Europe early 2019 to starting our sail around the world. Sadly, instead of the planned 6 months, New Zealand. we were held up there until just recently, due to the covid fiasco and then cyclones. But we are now moving on again, currently in Port Villa, Vanuatu. Next is the Solomon Islands if time permits or PNG, on then to Indonesia all in no particular rush to Malaysia and Thailand, where we hope to be before Christmas 2023.
Then during 2024 we'll cross the Indian Ocean (the best ocean, in my opinion). Visiting The Maldives. Chagos, The Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, into the south Atlantic, Cape Town across to Brazil, then up to the Caribbean. Then across the north Atlantic to Ireland, and end up in the Mediterranean. There, decide what to do next.
Crew often can't do the whole trip, so new crew join as we work our way around the world. Perhaps you might consider joining us here in Vanuatu or perhaps somewhere along the way.
Is this something that might interest you?

Looking for an experienced First Mate to accompany me and one other crew down to La Coruña (Potentially Vigo) in early June.

We are two lads in our early 30s who brought this yacht down from Scotland in September last year and are setting off for the Med. I would like someone experienced to come for the trip so that I can get some downtime in between watches and help with more some more technical aspects of navigation etc.

The yacht is an absolute cracker and has just had fitted a new Harken roller and Monitor windvane. She is a classic so isn't the most comfortable but has beautiful lines.

Reach out! Plenty more opportunities over the next couple of years also. Flexible on timings if I get the right person to join.

Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp. 1 years - Tahiti
I need 1-2 crews. Captain, 2 Mate. Crew. You will be the captain and I will be the first officer. Since this will be my first ocean crossing, I want to learn as much as I can to expand my knowledge. I'm always ready to learn and grow. It's good to be a team player and like to share knowledge, practices and what actually works.

If you are on the other side of the world, I will of course not pay your travel expenses in full. After all, this is not an A to B transport but rather an exploratory, mileage-gaining, enjoyable trip in this region. An excellent way to enhance the value of your CV. We can stop at any island on the way if you like. There is no time limit for arrival, only that the ship must leave French Polynesia within 2-4 weeks.

One idea maybe is to do at least 1000 miles without a tie down. Or sail island by island. Example: 1.Tahiti, BoraBora, Maupiti, Maupihaa, Aitutaki, Parmelston Island, Niue, Vavau Island, Suva. 2. Maupiti, Samoa, Suva. 3. Tahiti, BoraBora, Suva. Excellent opportunity to earn miles, good testimonials, region experience.

Captain Info:
A few words about myself by way of introduction. I am a surveyor, marketing and business graduate. I was discharged from the Hungarian Defence Forces with the rank of Lieutenant. I'm a two-time Hungarian JUDO champion. I've written a book on money-making and lived in London for 15 years. My language skills are not very good, so I don't speak English correctly but I never learned it.
I don't smoke or drink regularly. I live a healthy life. I learnt to sail in London UK about 10 years ago, it was good because I found a sport that turned me off completely. I gradually progressed to dinghies and then lasers and then bigger sailing boats.

Sailing from Greece to the Netherlands? The whole route or part of it? Does that sound good to you? We are sailing to the Netherlands and could use some extra eyes during watchkeeping. A lot of experience is not required. I have sailed around the world for the past 12 years where we sailed a lot with (paying) guests. We now want to sail the boat in the spring from Greece to the Netherlands. The last piece to complete the round the world trip. We hope to sail it in a month or 2. If the sailing weather is good we will sail a few days in a row. If the weather is not so good we will stay anchored and explore the land.

This trip is suitable for people who want to experience longer sailing. It is suitable for people who want to learn more about how to organize a sailing trip around the world, for example. Or for people who want to have an intensive sailing course/experience.

Feel free to send me an email if you want further information.

My wife and I have a 50-foot catamaran and are looking for a couple to be our crew. We need a captain and a mate/stew/chef. The captain should have a RYA yachtmaster offshore at a minimum and preferably ocean (or equivalent). The mate/stew/chef will primarily have inside responsibilities; however, they will need to support the captain in sailing the boat. The boat was built in 2021 and is still under warranty. There are three cabins aboard and you would have the aft port cabin which has its own full bathroom. Here is a link to the current model of the boat. https://x5.xquisiteyachts.com. We have a fully equipped model including a dive compressor and diving equipment

My wife and I live aboard full time; however, life aboard Time Out is not like a permanent charter. We are not looking to be entertained full time. We are both fairly laid back and self-sufficient. When at dock or on the hook, we will often go ashore by ourselves. Additionally as long as everything is ok aboard, we have no problem with our crew doing things by themselves whether it is sightseeing or going out for entertainment.

We require either a B1/B2 visa or a US or Canadian citizen. We will spend over 3 months in the US this year. We are currently in South Carolina and plan on heading up the East coast of the US this summer and then heading to the Caribbean and or the Bahamas for this winter. After that, we may either go to the Mediterranean or Pacific. We don’t have any specific plans.

We have children and grandchildren of living around the world and will travel to visit them so we will be off of the boat for around 6 to 8 weeks a year.

Our taste in food is broad and while we do like fancy dishes we more prefer basic food. There is no smoking aboard and my Wife and I are social drinkers.

Oi, sailor! ⛵⚓
Let me have some time to offer you one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

I have bought a Beneteau Oceanis 41ft in 2021 and the journey will start half of August '22. I want to set sail on the 13th of august and every leg will take almost a week. I have put a lot work into planning this journey with all it's legs and looking for short, save and cheap routes. We will try to sail from anchorage to anchorage, sometimes staying in marina's to fuel up or well needed 'rest'.

We will cross seas and oceans, pass countries, find heavy winds, sometimes searching for just a breeze, enjoy ourselves to the fullest and curse ourselves to the locker of Davy Jones. But this will without doubt stay with you for the rest of our lives.

Do you step aboard or stay and watch?

Sailing and diving around Antigua and Barbuda in February 2021
Do you love sailing as much as you like to spend time underwater? Want to explore the Caribbean islands, enjoy the sun, learn about sailing and dive?
Join us for a two-week adventure around the beautiful islands of Antigua an Barbuda in February and March 2021!
We are setting sails on Catamaran Lagoon 42 in Antigua and will explore the islands around from the seaside, and underwater.
You will not need previous sailing experience; we welcome sailors in all levels. Skipper is happy to teach you all the tricks of tacking, gybing and sail trimming as well as secrets of navigation and passage planning. We often practice manoeuvres and different scenarios you may face when cruising.
We will change location by sail and enjoy the beautiful anchorages area has to offer. We dive every other day when the anchor is safely down. Dives are either boat dives straight dropping down from the boat or we take a dinghy to the dive site nearby. We will do mostly a dive a day and when possible according the weather conditions, we will try to do night dives as well. Having a compressor on board and filling the tanks ourselves leaves flexibility for scheduling dives! Dive sites are mostly around reefs, wrecks, walls, slopes and caves, seeing fascinating sights of marine biodiversity, sharks, sea mammals, reef fish and coral. Antigua, Barbuda and surrounding areas offer on average up to 30 meters visibility and warm water to dive in during the winter months.
Please note, diving activities are for certified divers only.
Boat is also equipped for paddle boarding, snorkelling and fishing (rods and spearguns), and there will be free time for guests to go non guided swimming, hiking, beach bumming, island exploring and not to forget simply; chilling and relaxing
Antigua and Barbuda are full of culture mixed by Caribbean and West African, English and Spanish influences. It has wonderful towns and nature explore, both food, and music to discover as well as warm and welcoming locals and spectacular scenery. For a combination of a perfect holiday, Antigua and Barbuda have a lot to offer!
Our initial itinerary will include trip around the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, and potential stops on islands near by.*
You will be sailing and diving with experienced crew!
Fabian is RYA Yacht master Offshore, sailing teacher and overall excellent and trusted skipper who loves to share stories from his travels and sailing trips with his own boat around the world. Fabian spends most of the year sailing and has gained miles and experience from all kinds of weather conditions and challenges skipper may face on the sea. He has several years of experience of teaching on the lakes and on the sea, and is known of his very easy going, patient, and warm way of teaching.
Not to mention, he makes magic in the galley.
Jannika is a SSI divemaster with hundreds of dives and seasons of experience as a dive guide around the world under her belt. She is also a free diving buddy, snorkel guide and overall ocean enthusiastic.
Jannika has gained miles and sailing experience from the changing weathers of Mediterranean Sea and the waves and currents of Atlantic Ocean. She loves to share her travel stories and talk about wonders of underwater world.
Fabian and Jannika have worked, sailed and dived together for a while now. Both are fun loving, well-travelled outdoor explorers, food lovers and always up for a story time and laugh. They both have safety in mind as a main priority on board, on land, on surface and underwater.

Come and join for the Caribbean adventure! We offer couple of trips spread over the winter period 2021. Do not hesitate to contact us for more info, pricing and bookings!
See you soon in sunny and windy Antigua and Barbuda.

Hey!
We’re a couple from Gothenburg, Sweden who are looking for extra crew on our way down to the Mediterranean Sea (via English Channel, France,Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar. At the moment we have two extra crew members helping us out but one has to get off in Amsterdam and the other most likely in Brest, France which we hope arriving to in the end of July. We haven’t decided if we will be crossing Biscaya, depending on the winds, so the route is a bit flexible, also depending on the crew. We would love to have some extra hands on our way down and can discuss a good starting point/end which would suit you. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and experience of sailing longer distances. We have one extra cabin space with a bed from Amsterdam and one more from Brest so if you’re a couple/two friends that would be great as well. We will share the costs for the marinas, food and diesel.
We are 33 years old, easy going and kind. This could be a great opportunity to share some knowledge. Hope to hear from you!

Join us on as we embark on a second shake-out trip for our beautifully refitted Bagabonda, with an exciting detour to Tunisia. Setting sail from the picturesque port of Portocolom in Mallorca, Spain, our voyage will take us across the mesmerizing Mediterranean on a 60-hour passage to the charming coastal town of Bizerte.

Having recently completed a successful shakeout trip between France and Mallorca, we are enthusiastic to conquer another stretch of this unexpected sea.

While we are open to a one-way arrangement, we truly hope to find a crew that shares our passion and is eager to traverse these waters both ways.

If you have a taste for adventure and possess some sailing experience, we are searching for individuals like you to join our tight-knit crew. Whether you're an experienced sailor seeking new horizons or a passionate adventurer eager to broaden your skill set, this is your chance to be part of a team that values friendship, teamwork, and the thrill of shared experiences. Our boat is a 2021 Seawind 1260 sailing catamaran and well equipped with safety equipment (life raft, EPIRB, PLB’s, drogue, Dan Buoy, Iridium Go, and more). The boat has been safety inspected by the USCG and passed. We are a married couple in mid 60’s with a mid-size senior dog. We have sailed this boat for over 8000 NM in under 2 years and just completed her maintenance, so she is ready to sail again. The crew will have their own head and shower and queen size bunk. We pay food, boat, and clearing in / out expenses, you are responsible for travel to and from the boat.

We will depart Ft. Lauderdale the first week in January and can also pick you up in Miami or Key West on our way south. Our plan is to sail to Dry Tortugas (4 days from Miami – Key Largo – Boot Key – Key West – Dry Tortugas) and wait for a weather window to sail to Belize (4 to 5 days), San Pedro or Belize City. Plan B (2 to 3 days) is to sail to Isla Mujeres and then continue to Belize when weather permits. Your trip will end when we arrive in Belize City unless you decide to get off in Cancun. Total time after departure and weather permitting is around 9 to 10 days for plan A and 7 to 8 days for plan B.

We are looking for a person / couple who have some sailing offshore experience to do shift watches and are nonsmokers. Alcohol consumption is not permitted while on passage but is fine at other times.

Approximately 20-30 days for the trip. What is certain is that we must leave French Polynesia (I am in Tahiti at the moment) by April 19th at the latest. As you think it's not an A to B trip, but an exploring, mileage-gathering, enjoyable trip in this region. An excellent opportunity to add value to your CV. We can stop off on any island en route for a few days if you like. There is no time limit for arrival. But is nice if we can arrive first week in June. :) From my own lifestyle, I prefer people who don't do things for the money at all costs. If that's your only motivation, I'm not looking for you. I am looking for two mates for sailing along the Fastnet 2023 course with a start on July 20, 2023, aboard my classic Verte 25 MEA (www.measailing.wordpress.com).

2023 will be the 50th anniversary of the legendary Fastnet race (https://www.rolexfastnetrace.com/en/), with more than 500 participants expected.

MEA is too small to enter the official race, but we will sail across the same 695 nm race course from Cowes to the Fastnet rock and back to Cherbourg, starting a few days ahead of the fleet in order to meet the crowd in Cherbourg. Along the way, we will be passed by sailing monsters and faster boats, to each giving our salute.

This will be a tribute to small boat sailing and to the Vertue tradition of long passages, with the hope to establish a new challenge for other Vertues to follow in the years to come.

Join me in writing another legendary page of the legendary Vertue class. (Note: crew members will be asked to sail on one or two preparatory cruises in the spring of 2023).

Hello adventurers, sailors and explorers,

have you ever wondered why small boats are so seaworthy?

With Captain Kebsi (see my Youtube channel) you can experience this up close. Good seamanship is practiced here and it's still really sailed - with little engine, of course.

With this boat I sailed from Stockholm to Morocco in 2019. After that came the pandemic and a long break. Now it's time to continue the journey from Morocco to Tunisia! With wind and waves we sail in three big legs from Marina Saidia in Morocco to the Balearic Islands, than to Sardinia to finally reach Tunisia.

Seaworthiness and good physical condition are necessary in view of the demanding stages.

On the first day I will familiarize you with the boat. Every other day we enjoy the beautiful waves and the wind.

The boat is small, has 4 berths and is seaworthy equipped. Nautical charts, GPS, plotter, VHF radio, AIS, auto-pilot, 12 V, 230 V for blow-drying hair (only in the harbor), some kitchen and a small toilet, an outdoor shower, two anchors, 3 sails and a heater - it nothing is missing!

Can you already sail? And do you have waterproof warm clothing too?

Just call +49 (0) 176 844 940 86 (also WhatsApp) or email eskander.kebsi@gmail.com

The skipper:
• 31 years.
• German licence, radio certificate, sailing instructor, motorboat instructor.
• MBA and Dipl.-Ing.
• Speaks German, English, French and Arabic.

The ship:
• 24-foot sloop from the renowned Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy.
• A maximum of 2 guests sail during the trips.

The skipper also pays into the cash box.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: The journey from Casablanaca/Rabat to Saidia is uncomplicated by night train (single bed/private cabin). I am flying from Munich to Morocco on April 29, 2022 and I am taking the night train. A joint arrival is possible. Departure from Tunisia is straightforward. Lufthansa, AirFrance, Alitalia and Tunisair fly to Germany from Tunis airport.

Hi

This summer I am going to sail around in the Baltic Sea on my boat "Alanouwoly" (a junk rigged ketch) and I am looking for crew (obviously).
The journey starts in Wlhelmshaven, going through the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal and has open destinations from then on.
There is no fixed starting date yet although I am going for the start of June, and we can discuss from when until when you want to join me.
I want to be clear that this cruise is mostly about having fun to me, not about reaching a deadline or a far away place.

About me: my name is Hazel, I'm 21 and I just got out of 4 years of service in the German Navy. I bought "Alanouwoly" in Cowes, England and sailed her over to Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Last summer I singelhanded a trip around the German coast of the Baltic, touching into Denmark.

I look forward to hearing from you.
